God ordained Pastor Anita van den Berg to be the head pastor of Supernatural Ministries. She is a woman of outstanding character and prophetic anointing. Anita has experienced tremendous breakthroughs where God has come through for her
Pastor Anita was diagnosed with severe terminal cancer of her womb and surrounding areas. The medical fraternity gave her 3 months at the most to live. This happened in 1998.
Whilst attending a sermon, she received prophetic word where she was asked whether she would prefer exchanging thorns for her crown? The pastor laid hands on her after she accepted the invite for godly healing. Later she paid Pastor Sarel Peens of Bothaville a visit on her way for the operation.
He explained to her that she was engulfed with bitterness and her bitterness, was as a result of her unforgiving nature to those that have caused her tremendous hurt in her life. Bitterness is one of the roots of cancer. In short she had a choice, start forgiving people their trespasses before expecting forgiveness herself. She went into deep repentance and pleaded for forgiveness.
She was then admitted to a hospital in Bloemfontein, Free State province. During this admittance, the morning of her operation to remove all the infected areas, the surgeon was amazed to see no signs or traces of any cancer affected intestines. It was a God given miracle. She was healed by God. This was a major turning event in her life. First of all during her recovery period in the hospital she ministered to the staff of the ward as well as the anesthetists whom all surrendered their lives to God. This was the beginning of her exciting walk with God in His Supernatural Presence.
Anita had an existing ministry, ""Loaded for Jesus" amongst woman in Vereeniging, and formed part of a group "Woman Who Believe", as part of Finesse (magazine) . She worked closely with her spiritual mother and began her journey in deliverance, which she has tuned to perfection today. This was simply not enough being an energetic and over enthusiastic servant of God, she got involved in woman’s camps.
Anita is well known for her special spiritual gifting of supernatural healing and the prophetic ministry. In 2011 she had the privilege of meeting Apostle Guillermo Maldonado, founding member of "Ministerio Internacional El Rey Jesus" or better known as "King Jesus International Ministry" during his Days of Glory tour. After this meeting she asked God for guidance, as she does with all her decisions in the ministry. She was introduced to the Supernatural which is the basis of her ministry.
Then on the 17th of January 2016 she answered to the call to start a church. Through this year the church literally burst out through the seams. People are drawn to her phenomenal testimony, supernatural healing and prophetic gifting
Anita ministers wherever she gets the opportunity. The Word of God is very close to her heart and to lead God's people to a more intimate relationship with Him. She lives for worshiping our God and uniting people under His word. A personal meeting with every newcomer is standard procedure which she upholds. Anita is married to Ben van den Berg, and as a team they head the council of our church.
